Some colors are instantly recognizable. We notice them without always asking what they mean.
Blue is one of them.
It can evoke the sea or the sky, but also memory, silence, distance, energy or hope. It is a color that rarely tells a single story. Instead, it shifts with each artist, each medium and each perspective.
For this first virtual exhibition, Freshmind. invited emerging artists to respond to a simple theme: Blue.
Rather than searching for a single definition, the exhibition brings together different interpretations of the color. Through painting, photography and mixed media, each work reveals its own relationship with blue. Sometimes calm and meditative, sometimes vibrant or unexpected, these works remind us that a shared starting point can lead to remarkably different destinations. As you move through the exhibition, there is no single narrative to follow. Instead, the works gradually unfold as a series of visual conversations, allowing blue to become more than a color. It becomes atmosphere, memory, movement and emotion.
Blue is an invitation to slow down, look closely and experience how one color can be lived in many different ways.
